Enjoyable boat ride with lots of wildlife
We recently toured the canal with Rohitha boat tours, as recommended by Petit Tours. Our guide was very friendly and made sure to point out the many birds and lizards, and would stop and position the boat so we could get good photos. We saw many kingfishers, owls, water monitors and eagles.
It was also good to see how people live along the canal and we got lots of friendly waves as we passed by.
We also stopped for a short excursion to see a man climbing coconut trees to get coconut nectar and that was super interesting. Highly recommended!!!
